Doçent Doktor Ömer Faruk Ünverdi Hakkında

2003 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi’nde tıp eğitimine başladım. 2009 yılında tıp eğitimini tamamladıktan sonra, 2011 yılında Erciyes Üniversitesi Plastik Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Anabilim Dalı’nda başladığım uzmanlık eğitimini 2016 yılında ‘Effects of microneedle length and duration of preconditioning on random pattern skin flaps in rats’ adlı çalışma ile tamamladım, Ve Plastik Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Uzmanı oldum.

Aynı yıl Kocaeli Derince Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’ne atandım ve 2 yıl Klinik İdari Sorumlusu olarak görev yaptım. 2017 yılında Türk Plastik Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Derneği tarafından yapılan yeterlilik sınavını başarıyla geçerek Ulusal Yeterlilik Belgesi almaya hak kazandım. Eğitim ve uzmanlık sürecinde estetik ve onarım cerrahisi alanlarında çalışmalarda bulundum.

Devlet hizmet yükümlülüğümü tamamladıktan sonra İstanbul Okan Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde Yardımcı Doçent kadrosuna atandım. Okan Üniversitesinde 1 yıl görev yaptıktan sonra bu görevimden ayrıldım ve Esteworld Plastik Cerrahi kompleksinde çalıştım.

2021 yılı Ağustos ayında yapılan Avrupa Plastik Cerrahi Yeterlilik sınavı (EBOPRAS) sözlü sınavını geçerek Fellow ünvanı (FEBOPRAS) kazandım. Yaptığım bilimsel çalışmalar sonrası 2023 yılında Üniversiteler Arası Kurul tarafından yapılan değerlendirmede başarılı bulundum ve Plastik Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Dalı’nda Doçent ünvanı aldım.

Mesleki bilgi ve becerilerimi arttırmak, aynı zamanda dil eğitimimi tamamlamak üzere 2022-2024 yılları arasında 2 yıl Katar’da Plastik Cerrahi uzmanı olarak görev yaptım. Mesleki ve akademik çalışmalarıma 2024 yılında Antalya Lara’da kurduğum kendi kliniğimde devam etmekteyim.
